Prusa MK4 with elastomer dampers

For Prusa MK2/MK3, see the second section, below.

Assembly time: 10min

Required kit elements:

  • 5 pcs M3*6 screws
  • 4 pcs M3 square nuts
  • 16 cm of foam (around 6*2mm)

Step 1 Preliminary information

You need to print the three files.

Step 2 Mounting the bottom part

Insert square nuts into each slots of the bottom tube.

Screw from under with 3*6 screws.

Add foam tape on the top edges.

 

Step 3 Funnel

Assemble the two other parts together, and wcrew with a 3*6 screw, without nut.

Step 4 Final assembly

Use the 4 m3*6 screws you removed from the motherboard plate to assemble your new plate.

Optional Add a fan

You can add a 40mm*40mm fan inside the bottom part.

Required elements:

  • 4 pcs M3*6 screws
  • 4 pcs M3 square nuts

Step 1 Preparing the part

You need to print this file, and insert 4 square nuts into each slots.

Step 2 Mounting the funnel

Screw from under with 3*6 screws.

Optional Add a fan

You can add a 40mm*40mm fan inside the bottom part.
