Power Supply Unit and switch

Step 1 Prepare printed parts

For all PSU

Insert M3 nuts into each slot of every printed parts you need.

Step 2 Install PSU’s air entry

For all PSU

Use 3 pieces of M3*6 screws to secure right part to the metal frame

Step 3 Switch housing

For all PSU

Printed part depends on your PSU but has to be set the same way.

Slide the switch housing: place the metal frame inside the split.

Secure it with two M3*6 screws.

Step 4 PSU cover left

For all PSU

Put in place the left part as shown in the picture, and secure with three M3*6 screws.

Step 5.1 Prusa black PSU removal

Free your PSU by removing it from your printer

Step 5.2 Prusa silver PSU and Meanwell PSU removal

Free your PSU by removing it from your printer if necessary, and remove plastic parts

Step 6.1 Prusa black PSU installation

Assemble your PSU and printed parts as shown in these pictures

Step 6.2 Meanwell PSU installation

Screw lightly brackets to the PSU

Screw the brackets to the metal frame. Tighten previous screws.

Unplug all wires of the switch ( you may take a picture before unplugging to be sure  to not mix wires), insert it in the printed part, screw them together, and plug again.

Step 6.3 Prusa silver PSU installation

Assemble your PSU and printed parts as shown in these pictures

Step 7 Metal cover

For all PSU

Insert metal cover, and screw with two M3*6 screws.

Step 8 LED and fan plug

Here is how you will later plug your LED/fan power adaptator.
