2. Main frame assembly
Assembly time : 1h
Required kit elements :
- Spool Tank metal sheets
- M4 screws and M4 nuts
- Sealing kit (if chosen)

Step 1 Preliminary information

These are the top corners
These are the bottom corners
These are the spool tank’s feet
These are the spool tank’s side. They are identical.

This is the spool tank’s cover
Step 2 Mounting the bottom corners
Insert 6 M4 nuts into each bottom corner.
Insert 1 corner piece into each corner of the base.
For right insertion of corners, slide them from the top.
Fix the corner pieces to the base with 2 M4 screws.
Step 3 Attaching the spool tank feet
Turn the bottom of the spool tank over.
Install the 4 printer-box feet.
Fix each feet with two M4 screws.
Step 4 Mounting the top corners
Insert 4 M4 nuts into each top corner.
Insert 1 corner piece into each corner of the base.
For right insertion of coners, slide them from the top.
Fix the corner pieces to the base with 2 M4 screws.
Step 5 Mounting the sides
In this step we are going to mount the spool tank’s sides on the spool tank’s cover.
Be carefull to keep middle holes of each parts in the back.
Slide the left side from the top along the corners.
Do the same for the second spool tank’s side.
Secure each side with 4 m4 screws.
Step 6 Final assembly
For this step, be carefull to have the parts positionned the right way. The holes circled in red have to stay in the back of the box.
Take the spool tank’s cover and slide in on top of the bottom part, along the corners.
Fix each corner with 2 M4 screws.
Step 7 Inside sealing (for Sealing kit option) 1/4
If you didn’t choose the sealing kit option, you may go directly to chapter 3.
This sheet is the template to easily cut the aluminium adhesive tape to the right shape.
You will need 4 pieces of aluminium adhesive tape.
Place two strips on the patterns.
Redraw the dotted line on the strips and cut them, in order to have the correct length.
Do the same for the four angles.
Repeat these steps one, we need each strips 2 times.
These are the bottom strips.
These are the top strips.
Step 8 Inside sealing (for Sealing kit option) 2/4
In this step we are going to stick the upper sealing tape. It goes between the upper metal part and the sides ones.
Peel off a little part of the first strip
Place the non peel-off edge of the strip against the top corner
Stick the first edge on the metal parts
Remove slowly the strip’s paper to finish sticking.
Step 9 Inside sealing (for Sealing kit option) 3/4
Repeat step 8 on the bottom :
Peel off a little part of the strip
Place the non peel-off edge of the strip against the top corner
Stick the first edge on the metal parts
Remove slowly the strip’s paper to finish sticking.
Repeat step 8 and 9 to have the two sides completely sealed.
Step 10 Inside sealing (for Sealing kit option) 4/4
At the very end of the assembly, you can use excess of adhesive tape to cover the holes for wall mount if you don’t use them.
