Option 2: Webcam

1. Components:

  • Raspberry PI with power supply as described in option 1.
  • Webcam:
  • PIam:
    • PIcam:  several models available on amazon or other.
      If you want a general overview, select a fisheye version.
    • PIcam FCC cable: 30cm to 50cm long.

2. Print:

Files are inside the ZIP file.

For this option, print file: quantity 1:

#1: option02_webcam_xx.stl, inside PrusaSlicer right click on the part / Split to object, in order to choose parts regarding your webcam.
For Logitech C930, use the file from Thingiverse.

3. Assembly:

1. Webcam rail:

On the right front frame, assemble the webcam rail.

It uses the existing hinges screws. You need to unscrew the M3x6 screws and replace them with M3x12 screws.

2. Mounting the Logitech C270:

Rail slider is the same for all mounts.

You need:

  • 2x M3x12 screws
  • 2x M3 square nuts

3. Mounting the Logitech C930:

4. Mounting the PI cam:

Use screw delivered with the PI cam to fix it on the support.
